Short Bio
A series of comic books and video animations Project, initiated by SoLF in collaboration with UNFPA, is designed to bridge the knowledge gap among adolescents in Pakistan on critical topics such as menstrual hygiene, gender-based violence (GBV), sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), life skills-based education (LSBE), and mental health. By leveraging creative storytelling, the project delivers culturally relevant educational content in the form of comic books and animated video series, making essential information accessible and engaging for young audiences.
Objectives
- Break cultural taboos and encourage open discussions on sensitive topics.
- Provide engaging, youth-friendly content that enhances learning and retention.
- Expand the reach of SRHR and LSBE education through digital and physical dissemination channels.
- Strengthen advocacy efforts by integrating comics and animations into youth-focused interventions.
