In 2021, UNDP and Jazz collaborated to promote its agenda of encouraging social entrepreneurship amongst the youth of the country. School of Leadership as an implementing partner came on board to help identify and train social entrepreneurs from across Pakistan whose Social Enterprise was working towards the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. This goal was achieved through 5 regional and 4 thematic bootcamps divided into two cohorts.

OBJECTIVES OF COLLABORATION

  • Create a network of 400 social entrepreneurs, working towards the achievement of Sustainable Development
    Goals through 9 Bootcamps (4 regional and 4 thematics)
  • Equip young social entrepreneurs with key entrepreneurial skills and relevant transferable skills for the future
  • Assist participants in developing plans for sustainability and scalability of their social enterprise by focusing on key areas: Branding, Marketing, and Financial Management.
  • Provide mentoring opportunities for a more focused approach to specific learning needs of the group.

DELIVERABLES

Developed a CURRICULUM and other resource material for social entrepreneurs covering a 4 MAJOR MODULES.

402 Social entrepreneurs engaged from 201 social enterprises across Pakistan through 9 digital sessions over 5 days

Conducted 6 MENTORING SESSIONS with engaged participants to assist them in achieving their start-up development goals

Conducted capacity building training of 4 TRAINERS
